Fir thinning is one of the ways we promote forest health and biodiversity. By selectively removing fast-growing fir trees, we allow more sunlight to reach the majestic oak trees—home to over 2,000 species. 🌳

This practice fosters a healthier ecosystem and also creates a more vibrant, diverse landscape for all who visit. Every gathering and retreat here helps to fund regenerative efforts like this, ensuring Whispertree remains a sanctuary for both nature and people. ✨
