A Dharma, Meditation & Mindful Yoga Retreat with Stacie Overby
The beginning of a new year invites us not to push toward change, but to listen for what truly wants to unfold. In the peaceful stillness of winter, there is a quiet invitation to return to what matters — to align our lives with the deeper currents of the heart.
In the Buddhadharma, mind is the forerunner of all things — our thoughts, actions, relationships, and patterns all emerge from the qualities we cultivate in the mind and heart. Through mindfulness, we begin to see clearly: when we water the seeds of reactivity, confusion, and fear, suffering grows; when we nourish presence, wisdom, and compassion, freedom becomes possible. Like gardeners of our own lives, we can learn to tend what leads to genuine well-being.
Each day will include dharma teachings, seated and walking meditation, mindful yoga and somatic therapeutic movement. There will be time for rest, journaling, and time outdoors on the beautiful land at Whispertree. Evenings will close with quiet practice to support integration.
